Netflix hasn’t disclosed any release dates for The Raid, but given its early development stage, we can presumably expect it in 2023. The American remake of The Raid remains in development, though a parting of ways between rights owners XYZ Films from director Joe Carnahan and star Frank Grillo now makes it an unofficial one on the latter pairs part titled Zeno. The Raid is still in active development at Netflix, which means that the script is still being written and edited, with pre-production to follow. The cast for the US remake of The Raid remake has yet to be confirmed as of May 2022, but given the producers, we can expect quite a few prominent names to feature. This version of The Raid is claimed to be set in the drug-infested “Badlands” of Philadelphia, where an elite covert DEA task force climbs a ladder of cartel informants to apprehend an elusive boss.
